all on 6 implants in the United Arab Emirates, weighed honestly.

Six implants cost more than four, and the Emirates is a premium market, so this is rarely a budget choice. Confirm whether you actually need six, and whether the final bridge is included.
Quick answer

Is the Emirates worth it?

All on 6 dental implants in the United Arab Emirates commonly cost from about AED 30,000 to AED 65,000 per arch, roughly £6,400 to £13,800, broadly similar to UK pricing rather than far below it. All on 6 places six implants instead of four for added support, often chosen for the upper jaw or where bone allows. The Emirates is a tightly regulated, English speaking destination, so most people who travel here come for standards and convenience, not a bargain.

Costs below are indicative ranges, reviewed October 2025, and vary with the implant brand, the bridge material, and what a package includes. They are not a quote and not a promise of a result.

What it really costs

The price here, honestly.

All on 6 adds two implants over all on 4, so it usually costs more, and the Emirates does not undercut the UK by a wide margin. An all on 6 quote depends heavily on the implant brand and the bridge material, and on whether the final permanent bridge is included or priced separately.

Indicative ranges, reviewed October 2025, in the currencies clinics most often quote. Not a quote and not a promise. Currency conversions are approximate and move with the exchange rate.

Confirm in writing whether the final permanent bridge is included, the implant brand and warranty, and the currency you are billed in. Premium European brands typically cost more than budget alternatives. Bone grafting or a sinus lift adds to the total.

The real experience

Two trips, and the follow up.

An all on 6 treatment places six implants in the jaw to carry a full fixed bridge, giving more support than all on 4 where the bone allows. It is usually two trips. On the first, the implants go in and a fixed temporary bridge is fitted, often within a day or two. You then heal for a few months while the implants fuse, before returning for the final permanent bridge. Some clinics offer a single longer stay, but a staged plan with a healing gap is common.

Plan for roughly five to seven days in the Emirates for the first stage, then a second trip later for the final bridge. English is widely spoken in clinics here, and direct flights are frequent, which makes the logistics easier than in many destinations. Expect soreness, swelling and a soft diet for a week or two, and follow the cleaning routine closely. The temporary bridge looks good but is not the finished result.

The follow up is the hard part of going abroad. If the bite needs adjusting, a screw loosens, or an implant fails, a dentist at home may be reluctant to service another clinic work. Agree how reviews, adjustments, the warranty and any remake will be handled, and keep the implant brand and records so a local dentist can help in an emergency.

The risks of travelling here

What can go wrong.

Implants are well established and usually successful, but they are surgery, and travelling for them complicates the reviews that get the bite right. Understand both before you commit.

Implant failure

Most implants integrate, but some fail to fuse, especially with smoking, diabetes or thin bone. A failed implant needs removal and a fresh attempt, which means more time and cost.

Infection and bone loss

Peri implant infection and bone loss around an implant can develop over time and need ongoing care, which is harder to manage from another country.

Nerve or sinus problems

Implants in the lower jaw can irritate a nerve and cause numbness, and upper implants can affect the sinus. Placing six implants needs careful scans and planning, which reduce but do not remove this risk.

Cost as its own risk

All on 6 costs more than all on 4, and the Emirates is a premium market, so the saving against the UK can be slim once flights, hotel and a second trip are counted. Run the full sum first.

The travelling risk

If something needs adjusting after you fly home, arranging it remotely is the central problem of dental work abroad. Settle the warranty, remakes and who pays in writing first.

How to choose safely here

Questions before you pay.

A safe clinic answers all of these in writing without flinching. Vague answers, pressure to book quickly, and prices far below the market are the warning signs that matter most. We never name a clinic, so use these to judge any you are sent.

1
Is the dentist licensed by the local health authority?
Practitioners must hold a licence from the Dubai Health Authority, the Department of Health Abu Dhabi, or the Ministry of Health and Prevention. Ask for the name and licence, and confirm who places the implants and who makes the bridge.
2
Is the clinic licensed and, ideally, accredited?
Facilities are licensed by the relevant emirate authority, and many larger ones hold international accreditation such as JCI. Ask about the facility and the planning equipment, such as a 3D scan.
3
Do I actually need six implants rather than four?
Ask why six is recommended for your jaw. The honest answer rests on your bone and bite, not on selling a larger package.
4
Which implant brand and bridge material, and is there a warranty?
Ask for the implant brand, the bridge material, and the written warranty. Established brands make future servicing easier wherever you are.
5
Does the price include the final permanent bridge?
An arch price often covers only implants and a temporary bridge. Get an itemised quote that states whether the final bridge is included, and the currency.
6
What happens if an implant fails or the bridge needs a remake?
Get the warranty, remake and revision terms in writing, including who pays and whether a return trip is needed.

Common questions

The things everyone asks.

What is the difference between all on 4 and all on 6?

All on 6 uses six implants instead of four to support the bridge, which can give more stability where the bone allows, often in the upper jaw. It usually costs more. Which suits you depends on your bone and bite, so ask the dentist to explain the choice.

Is all on 6 in the Emirates safe?

At a licensed clinic where a qualified dentist places the implants and an established brand is used, success rates can be comparable to home. Risk rises with smoking, thin bone, and weak follow up. This guide helps you judge any clinic you are sent.

Will I actually save money versus the UK?

Not always. The Emirates is a premium market, so prices broadly overlap with UK private fees rather than sitting far below them. Once flights, hotels and a second trip are added, the saving can be small. Reviewed June 2026.

Does the price include the final bridge?

Not always. An arch price often covers implants and a temporary bridge only. Always ask for an itemised quote that states whether the final permanent bridge is included.

What if an implant fails after I get home?

Servicing is harder from abroad, and a local dentist may be reluctant to work on another clinic implants. Agree the warranty, remakes and who pays in writing first, and keep your implant records.
