Cryolipolysis cost, cycle by cycle.

Cryolipolysis, or fat freezing, is priced per cycle and per area, and most people need more than one. Here is the indicative cost, why the number of cycles matters, and why it is not weight loss. We never name a clinic.

Quick answer

What does it really cost?

In the UK a single cycle commonly costs about four hundred to eight hundred pounds for a smaller area, and around six hundred to twelve hundred for the abdomen, depending on the applicators used. Because most people need two or more cycles to see a result, the real cost is the course, not one session.

These are indicative ranges, reviewed June 2025, not a quote. Cryolipolysis reduces a localised bulge rather than producing weight loss, and the effect is gradual over weeks, so judge the cost against a modest, specific result.

What it really costs

The price, honestly.

Cost is driven by the area, the number and size of applicators, and the number of cycles. Larger areas and several cycles cost more. Abroad, per cycle prices often run below UK levels, mostly from lower labour and clinic costs.

Always confirm how many cycles and applicators the quote covers, whether a second session is included, and what currency you are billed in. The course, not a single cycle, is the right unit to compare.

What drives the price

Why two quotes can mean different things.

The area and the applicators. A small applicator on the chin costs less than larger applicators on the abdomen or flanks. The number and size of applicators in a cycle is a major driver of the price.

How many cycles. A single cycle rarely gives the final result, so most plans use two or more, spaced about four weeks apart. A low per cycle price can mask the cost of the full course.

The device and the provider. Different machines and applicator fits give different results, and a trained provider who assesses suitability matters. Cheaper does not always mean comparable.

The hidden total. For a treatment with modest, gradual results, flights and a stay across more than one cycle can outweigh the saving. Budget the whole plan, not a single visit.

Why total cost matters more

The cheapest quote is rarely the true cost.

Cryolipolysis gives a modest, gradual reduction of a specific bulge rather than weight loss, and it usually needs more than one cycle to show. That makes a single cheap session abroad a poor measure of value, since a full course plus travel can cost more than treating it at home. Be clear with yourself about how small the expected change is before you spend on flights for it.

There is a safety note too. A rare side effect, where treated fat grows rather than shrinks, can occur and may need surgery to correct. Being far from the clinic makes any follow up or correction harder, and a provider here may be reluctant to manage another clinic's work.

Before you pay, confirm: how many cycles the plan needs, what each cycle and applicator costs, the realistic result for your case, and who would manage any problem once you are home.

Get Matched with a vetted clinic

Compare the course, not one cycle.

Send one brief and we route it to vetted clinics that state how many cycles and applicators are planned and the realistic result, so you can compare the true cost. You choose, with no pressure.

Free and no obligation. Accredited clinics only. We never sell your details.

We reply within two working days. Your details are never sold.

How we make money: the guides are free and no clinic can pay to be named, ranked or recommended. We never name clinics. Get Matched is an optional service that helps keep the guides free and independent of any one clinic; using it is always your choice and you are never charged. How this works.

Common questions

The things everyone asks.

How much is cryolipolysis per cycle?

In the UK indicatively about four hundred to eight hundred pounds for a smaller area and six hundred to twelve hundred for the abdomen, depending on applicators. Abroad it is often lower. Reviewed June 2026 and not a quote.

How many sessions will I need?

Most people need two or more cycles, often spaced about four weeks apart, to see a result. That is why the cost of the whole course, not one session, is what to compare.

Is it weight loss?

No. It reduces a localised bulge of fat rather than reducing body weight, and the change is gradual and modest. It suits a stubborn pocket, not overall weight reduction.

Is it cheaper abroad?

Often the per cycle price is lower, but because several cycles are usually needed, a course plus travel can cost more than treating it at home. The saving on one cycle rarely justifies a trip on its own.

Is the cheapest quote the best value?

Not necessarily. The device, the applicator fit, and a provider who checks suitability matter, and a rare side effect can make treated fat grow rather than shrink. Compare the plan and the provider, not just the headline figure.
