Hollywood smile cost, the real total.

A Hollywood smile is a cosmetic makeover of many front teeth at once, so the cost turns on how many teeth, the material, and whether crowns or veneers are used. Abroad can look a fraction of UK pricing, but what is done to your teeth is the real story. We never name a clinic.

The one honest thing
A Hollywood smile is cosmetic, not health driven. If it is built on crowns, healthy teeth are ground down to stumps, which cannot be undone. The cheapest quote often means the most reduction, so the price is not the thing to compare first.
Quick answer

What does it really cost?

A full Hollywood smile of around sixteen to twenty teeth commonly runs from about two and a half thousand to seven thousand pounds abroad, against roughly twelve thousand to twenty five thousand pounds or more at a UK private clinic. The total depends on how many teeth, the material, and whether crowns or veneers are used.

These are indicative ranges, reviewed August 2025, not a quote. The most important question is not the price but how much healthy tooth is removed. This is general information, not medical advice.

What it really costs

The price, by material.

Per tooth pricing abroad is shown below, with full set ranges. Veneers and crowns of the same material can look alike but differ greatly in how much tooth is removed, so compare on the work, not just the figure.

Indicative ranges, reviewed August 2025. Not a quote. UK private pricing per tooth is several times higher.

Per tooth, abroadIndicative
Composite veneer£150 to £250
Zirconia crown£180 to £280
Porcelain or Emax veneer£250 to £350
Full set of 20, zirconia crowns£3,500 to £5,500
Full set of 20, Emax veneers£5,000 to £7,000

The same work at a UK private clinic commonly runs from about twelve thousand to twenty five thousand pounds or more. Always confirm the material, the number of teeth, and exactly what an all inclusive package does and does not cover.

What drives the price

Why two quotes can mean very different things.

Crowns or veneers. Veneers are thin and remove little tooth. Crowns cover the whole tooth and need it ground down to a stump. Crowns are often quicker and cheaper, which is why some clinics favour them, but the trade off is permanent.

How many teeth. A set of ten upper teeth costs far less than twenty across both arches. Decide how many are really needed for the look you want.

The material and laboratory. Emax and good zirconia with skilled laboratory work cost more and tend to look more natural and last longer.

The hidden total. Flights, accommodation, any extra treatment such as gum work, and the cost of repairs later all add up. Build the whole journey into your budget.

Why total cost matters more

The cheapest quote is rarely the true cost.

The real cost of a Hollywood smile is what is done to your teeth. Grinding down healthy teeth for crowns is irreversible, and crowned teeth can later need root canals or replacement. A low price that comes from crowning sound teeth is not a saving, it is a permanent trade.

Crowns and veneers also have a lifespan and will need replacing in time, at full cost. If a tooth dies under a crown or a veneer chips, putting it right from abroad means another trip, and many package prices exclude repairs.

Before you pay, confirm: whether crowns or veneers are proposed and how much tooth is removed, whether a more conservative option would achieve a similar look, the material and number of teeth, what the package excludes, and how a repair is handled once you are home.

Common questions

The things everyone asks.

How much is a Hollywood smile abroad?

Indicatively about two and a half thousand to seven thousand pounds for a full set of sixteen to twenty teeth, depending on the material. Reviewed June 2026 and not a quote.

Why is it so much cheaper than the UK?

Mostly lower labour and laboratory costs and a competitive market. A very low price can also mean crowns on healthy teeth or cheaper materials.

Are crowns or veneers better value?

It is not only about value. Veneers preserve more tooth, crowns remove more and are harder to reverse. Choose on what is right for your teeth, then on cost.

How long does the work last?

Crowns and veneers have a lifespan and will need replacing in time, at full cost. Budget for future replacement, not a one off.

What is the biggest cost risk?

Paying with healthy tooth. Grinding sound teeth for crowns to get a low price is irreversible and can lead to costly problems later.
