Understand the place before you book.

Each destination guide explains how medical travel works there, the accreditations to look for, and the realistic trade offs. No clinic named, ever.

General health information, not medical advice, and not a substitute for a qualified doctor. Always consult a licensed professional before making any decision.

The one honest thing
A country is not a quality stamp. Safety varies clinic to clinic within every destination.
Quick answer

Which country is right?

There is no single best destination. The right country depends on the procedure, the distance you can travel, the accreditation you can verify, and how follow up would work once you are home. A famous medical travel hub can hold both excellent clinics and risky ones, so judge the clinic, not the country.

Use each guide to learn how care is regulated in that country, what accreditations to confirm, and the practical trade offs of language, travel, and aftercare. Then Get Matched routes your brief to vetted clinics for honest comparison.

Choose a destination

Where people travel.

These are the countries we are mapping. The guide marked live is ready now. The rest are in production, written to the same standard. You can Get Matched for any destination meanwhile.

More destinations are being added. While a guide is in production you can still Get Matched for that country, or read the live Turkey guide.

How to weigh a destination

Five things that actually matter.

Country reputation is a weak signal. These five practical factors tell you far more about whether a trip will go well.

Accreditation you can verify

Look for recognised national authorisation and, for hospitals, international accreditation that can be checked on a public register. A claim on a website is not proof.

Who actually performs the procedure

Confirm that a licensed clinician does the work and which steps they personally carry out, not a technician acting alone.

Travel time and recovery

Some procedures need a settled period before flying. A shorter flight can matter more than a slightly lower price if complications are possible.

Language and consent

You need to understand what you are consenting to. Confirm that consultation, consent forms, and aftercare instructions are available in a language you read well.

Follow up once you are home

Agree in writing how revisions, complications, and any guarantee will be handled from a distance, before you travel.

Get Matched with a vetted clinic

Tell us where, and what. We do the rest.

Send one brief and we route it to vetted clinics in your chosen destination who return tailored quotes. You compare on your own terms, with no pressure.

Free and no obligation. Accredited clinics only. We never sell your details and we never name a clinic to you here.

We reply within two working days. Your details are never sold.

How we make money: the guides are free and no clinic can pay to be named, ranked or recommended. We never name clinics. Get Matched is an optional service that helps keep the guides free and independent of any one clinic; using it is always your choice and you are never charged. How this works.

Common questions

Choosing a country.

Is one country safer than another?

Safety depends far more on the individual clinic and clinician than on the country. Every popular destination contains both excellent and risky providers, so verify accreditation and who performs the work rather than relying on a national reputation.

Should I pick the cheapest destination?

Not on price alone. Add travel, accommodation, any repeat visits, and the cost of managing a complication at home. The lowest headline price is sometimes the most expensive choice once everything is counted.

How soon can I fly after a procedure?

It varies by procedure and by person, and some surgeries need a settled recovery period before flying to reduce risk. Ask the treating clinician for written guidance specific to your case and your flight.

When is travelling abroad a bad idea?

When you cannot verify the clinic, when follow up cannot be arranged, when you have health conditions that raise the risk of travel or anaesthesia, or when the saving is small once everything is counted. Sometimes the honest answer is to stay home.
